Overview The Region III office is located in Las Cruces, NM. The Region consists of 68 employees in twelve different offices- Las Cruces (3), Anthony, Silver City, Deming, Lordsburg, Socorro, T or C, Moriarty, Alamogordo and Ruidoso. The Region covers all of southern New Mexico, from as far east as Ruidoso, South to the Texas border to as far west to the Arizona border. The Region encompasses four judicial districts: the Third in Dona Ana County; the Sixth in Grant, Luna and Hidalgo Counties; the Seventh in Socorro, Catron, Torrance and Sierra Counties; and the Twelfth in Otero and Lincoln Counties. Region III has four contracted and one state-run Community Correction programs, three Sex Offender Officers located in Las Cruces (2) and Alamogordo (1), a Transitional Reporting Center, which is located in Las Cruces and the region supervises the State's Centralized Offender Payment System (COPS), which is located in the Socorro District Office. Region III has two in-patient residential drug/alcohol treatment programs, which are located in Alamogordo and Silver City. The Otero County Counsel on Alcoholism and Alcohol Abuse (OCCAA) is a 30-90 day inpatient program and Yucca Lodge in Silver City is a 28-day in-patient treatment program. The Region has six Drug Court Programs located in Dona Ana, Hidalgo, Grant, Sierra, Socorro and Otero County.
